Caseiro House is approached from the main courtyard and entered by way of a small flight of stairs, giving it the feeling of a charming first floor apartment with a cosy, rustic atmosphere. It is located next to the beautiful little chapel which dates back to the 1630s and which is still used today on special occasions.

Once inside, the house is bright, fresh and airy. Beautiful views of the Quinta’s mature gardens can be appreciated from all windows. A veranda, which commands spectacular views of the farm’s vineyards and eucalyptus, enables guests to enjoy alfresco eating and candle-lit dinners.

The house is tastefully decorated and well furnished, ensuring that guests are comfortable and have all that they need.

Your charming hosts, James and Ann Frost, have lived on the Quinta since 1993 with their family. Quinta de Sant’ana has been in Ann’s family since the 1960s. The Quinta is their lives and they have worked very hard to maintain the original charm of an old Portuguese working farm. They have recently invested in the wine producing facilities of the Quinta. Guests will be made very welcome by the hosts and their children.

The holiday house offers the following accommodation:

* Living room with TV, Video and DVD

* 3 Twin bedrooms, 1 with ensuite bathroom

* Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher

* 1 Extra bathroom with an old iron bath with overhead shower

* Veranda

* Garden furniture

* Barbeque

* Metered central heating

* Parking

* Shared use of large swimming pool

* All linen provided (except beach towels)

* Cleaning service and linen/towel change on a weekly basis. Extra cleaning on request.

* Guests are asked to pay a non-refundable 30% deposit at the point of reservation. The remainder is due on arrival.

* Payments can be made in cash (euros) or by bank transfer.

* There is no credit card facility at this property.

* All payments are made directly to the property owner.

The owners will endeavour to find other dates suitable to clients if cancellation of the initial reservation is necessary. However, the 30% deposit paid on reservation is non-refundable.

Changeover day:
Changeover day for all self-catering houses is Saturday.

Children:
Children are very welcome and will be made so by the hosts and their children. The following facilities are available for young children and babies:
